Patrick is a researcher and designer interested in how the built environment is formed by, and goes on to form, our social contexts. This interest was most recently expressed in a two-year study of agonism and plurality in the identification of Johannesburg. He received a Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Waterloo in Canada. Patrick has worked as a designer in Toronto, Vancouver, New York, and the Netherlands, on work ranging from competitions and construction documents to fabrication and design research. These projects range from publications and cultural buildings to regional planning and public art.
